finally tried the sally hansen nail strips! a few tips to add on top of the instructions in the box: 

1. I misjudged the size of my nail bed almost every time. so whatever size you think matches your cuticle, pick one bigger. 
2. My nails are short enough that I got a full manicure out of one of the two blister packs in the box. Score! 
3. Don’t open the blister pack until you’re about to start, and don’t pull off the plastic top until you’re about to put the strip on your nail. (They dry out super quick.) 
4. Hold the strip between your thumb and forefinger briefly to warm it up — that’ll let you stretch it to fit it to your nail better. 
5. If you’ve got short nails and are going to split the strips, take the plastic protector strip off before you cut it with scissors. And then when you’ve got it cut, remove the paper backing to put it on your nail. 
6. Press the strips to your nail with your finger or thumb to heat-seal it and use the pusher stick to smooth down the edges. 
7. Top coat!
